What should B2B marketers prioritize if they only have a small team?

If you have a small team as a B2B marketer, your time becomes infinitely more valuable. So, you have to be infinitely more intentional about your timing. So, focusing on your best performing platforms is easily going to be the lowest hanging fruit. But we have to make sure we have data tied into everything we're doing so that we can properly identify what those primary platforms should be.

Make it a goal as a B2B marketer to create one piece of high impact content every single week. Some weeks will be harder than others, but if you set a goal and challenge yourself, imagine what you could create over a month, two months, 6 months, or even a year. By implementing the small compounding interest content creation, you can fuel your content engine for months and years to come.

Also, as a small marketing team, being able to automate as many of your functions as possible is going to be a huge win for yourself and the rest of your team.

Anything you can automate from emails as well as lead scoring is going to help save you time and help you take that precious time that you have and focus on the most high impact and highest converting actions.

I don't care what they say. There's nothing wrong with a good old-fashioned template. And whether it's your email copy, whether it's content themes, or anything along those lines, feel free to find as many templates as possible that allow you to quickly create, edit, optimize, and get content out the door. We don't always want to speed things up entirely too much, but working smarter and harder can happen at the same time by way of templates. And with all the marketing noise that exists in this world, let's make sure we focus on our northstar, which is creating revenue.

So, if you have the right strategy, templates, themes, and you're using data, then you've already set yourself up for success.
