I've been with Red Gold for a little over three years now, but I've been working with Wells Brothers for pretty much the last 20 years.

The biggest thing for me is Wells Brothers is reliable. I know that if I use them, the project's going to get done right. I'm not going to get slammed with change orders, and I can really just count on them to be on time, on budget, and get the job done.

The relationship with Alex goes back roughly 17 years. I met Alex at Cargill. That was the first project we did with Alex Miller in 2009.

Then he went to another plant that made pizza crust. We worked there, and now we're working with him at Red Gold. It's been a 17-year relationship, and it's been a great relationship.

The biggest thing to me is trust. They do what they say they're going to do.

They also have many different crafts that work for them, so I don't always have to piece out rigging, electrical, and pipefitting. I can kind of go to them for everything.

Our team's multifaceted. We can get in, get the project done, and get out successfully.

Whether it's a small project or a large project, as long as we add value and solve that problem, that's the name of the game.

The other thing I've seen with Wells Brothers is all their people have been great to work with, down to the apprentice welder all the way up to the team that's quoting and doing the design work.

I know, and I have that confidence, that these people know what they're talking about. I don't have any concerns that they're going to be over their head.

Anybody that has a problem, a production problem, a maintenance problem, whatever that problem might be, there's a good chance we can come in and help solve that problem.

That's our goal: just to make life easier.
